These five unassuming Britishers produce no more, no less than lightweight progressive rock, with an emphasis on high-pitched chorusing and balanced, crystalline production of keyboards, vocals and guitars. With the possible exception of the soulful, slow-moving Casual Conversations, this LP is a cereal bowl full of sugared flakes. Some people will gobble it up. Others will find that after a few choice samples—say, Goodbye Stranger, Take the Long Way Home and Just Another Nervous Wreck—they’ve had their fill.
