Ah, the French. They sure know how to whip up a soufflé comedy. The trouble is, this one’s so fluffy it just seems to float away. Brigitte Fossey plays a health-food nut who moves to the country and falls in love with a handsome young farmer but refuses to marry him. The farmer, played with offhand humor by Jacques Serres, agrees that their mutual independence is too good to spoil, so they settle in for a long romance. Director Jean-Charles Tacchella, who created the charming Cousin, Cousine last time out, often skips the plot for some amusing but pointless digressions on life in the country. (Unrated)
