Anthony Braxton

That isn’t a typo; Braxton uses diagrams (described by mathematical notations) instead of titles. An alumnus of Chicago’s Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians and a respected reedman and composer, he indulges himself here in a wildly experimental composition. It consists of unmelodic and nonrhythmic short passages by various instruments, punctuated by growling, humming and what sounds like someone banging a garbage can lid on a light pole. This does evoke an urban street at 3 a.m. but it is hardly what most people think of as music.
