Rex Reed and Bill Harris have no chemistry together either; these guys wouldn’t talk to each other in a stuck elevator. The ever-grinning Harris makes tapioca seem spicy. But Reed is a reliable hoot. When it comes to hating movies, nobody’s meaner, bitchier and funnier—except that when he doesn’t hate a movie outright, Rex sometimes cops out. For example: After giving us a dozen reasons why The Mission was a failure of a movie, he still says we should go see it. Thanks a lot, Rex.
