Terrorist alerts or no, celebs still have places to go. The books some are choosing to help make that flight just fly by:

Naomi Judd: “The Language of God by Dr. Francis S. Collins. He reconciles science and religion. I find it fascinating and reassuring.”

Eric Benét: “Anything by Eckhart Tolle: The Power of Now, A New Earth. Those put you back into the moment so you’re not tripping about what might go wrong.”

Christina Aguilera: “I’m in the middle of Rage to Survive: The Etta James Story. My bare necessities are my diaries and a notebook…. A way to express myself outside the chaos. I’ll still find a way to get myself together on a plane.”

Paul Giamatti: “Cheesy thrillers. But [with the terrorist scare] they wouldn’t let me take a book the last time I left Europe.”

Nathan Lane: “Are you not allowed to bring books anymore? Paul Giamatti’s book was probably about liquids…. I’ve honestly been reading Specimen Days by Michael Cunningham.”
