Bravo (May 9, 9 p.m. ET)

COMEDY

Griffin, who plays herself up as a D-list celebrity slinging mud at the kneecaps of stars above her, can only work the irony so far: No one who does this many gigs is indifferent to fame. Not too many months after a Bravo reality show (a second season starts in June), she’s back with a stand-up special. It’s entertaining as a contribution to what will someday be an academic concentration: red-carpet studies. She’s funny recalling her 2005 E! stint covering the Golden Globes, when she got in trouble for joking that Dakota Fanning was in rehab. But eventually she backs off envelope-pushing and sticks to jolly material about dogs and Celine Dion. The title? A meaningless attempt at outrageousness.
