At 60, Phylicia Rashad often gets fans telling her that she looks good for her age. “I don’t know what that means!” she says. “Honestly, it’s about the way I feel.” Three months ago she wasn’t feeling great: After walking up three flights of stairs, Rashad became winded. “I thought, ‘Hmmm,'” says the 5’6″ actress, who spent many years as a comfortable size 8 but says the pounds steadily crept on because she wasn’t eating “appropriate” portions. “I was hefty!” But since Nov. 24, after signing on as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman, Rashad has lost 16 lbs. on a 1,200-calorie-a-day meal plan. Where the scale will end up, she isn’t saying—because she prefers to focus on another goal: “I just want to be light on my feet.”
