The twins join big sister India Rose, 22 months. •Intelligence actor Josh Holloway, 44, is a new dad. On March 18 PEOPLE confirmed that his wife, Yessica, 36, gave birth to a son named Hunter Lee in February. The couple are already parents to daughter Java, 4. •Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, 38, and her fiancé, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford, 32, welcomed their first child together, a boy named Carl Leo, on March 22. The parents will call their son by his middle name because Crawford’s zodiac sign is Leo. The newborn is Lozada’s second child. She has a daughter named Shaniece from a previous relationship.

UNCOUPLED

Former Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir has split from his husband, Victor Voronov. “It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together,” Weir tweeted on March 19. “My heart hurts, and I wish him well.” Weir, 29, and Voronov, 30, a lawyer, got married in a New York civil ceremony in 2011. Weir filed for divorce on Feb. 12. On March 24 Voronov filed papers with a New Jersey court requesting financial support and the return of their Japanese Chin dog Tema. Voronov says he has been the primary caretaker for Tema and is “extremely attached to him” and “devastated” by Weir taking away the dog.

BABY ON BOARD

Mistresses actress Alyssa Milano, 41, and her husband, Hollywood agent David Bugliari, 35, are expecting baby No. 2. The Who’s the Boss? alum announced on her website March 21 that her 2-year-old son Milo will have a sibling. “We are so happy to share with you that Milo is going to be a big brother!” she wrote. The couple have been married since 2009.•Newlywed Stacy Keibler, 34, is going to be a first-time mom. Just 16 days after saying “I do” to tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre, 39, in Mexico, she announced that she is expecting a baby this summer. “More blessings!” the couple told People on March 24. “We’re an elated family-to-be!”

ANNOUNCEMENT

Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razar announced on March 24 that analysis of electronic satellite data shows that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 “ended” in an area of the Indian Ocean west of Perth, Australia. As for the 239 people aboard the plane, “we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived,” said the prime minister.

DEATH

Veteran actor James Rebhorn, who recently played Claire Danes‘s father on the Showtime series Homeland, died at his home in South Orange, N.J., on March 21 from melanoma. He was 65. During his five-decade career, Rebhorn appeared in dozens of hit movies and television shows such as Independence Day, Scent of a Woman and TV’s Law & Order, Seinfeld and White Collar. Rebhorn is survived by his wife, Rebecca Linn, and two daughters, Hannah and Emma.

MARRIED

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, 55, tied the knot with Veronica Berti, 30, his girlfriend of 12 years, at the Sanctuary of Montenero in Livorno, Italy, on March 21, which is also the date of their daughter Virginia’s second birthday. The bride wore an Ermanno Scervino silk gown, while the Grammy-nominated singer wore a Corneliani suit. Friends and family attended the intimate ceremony, including Bocelli’s sons Amos, 19, and Matteo, 16, from his previous marriage to Enrica Cenzatti, from whom he split in 2002.

Alexis Shapiro’s Weight-Loss Surgery

Doctors perform sleeve gastrectomy to help alleviate a rare condition

For more than two years Alexis Shapiro, 12, from Cibolo, Texas, has battled hypothalamic obesity, a rare condition that causes hunger and uncontrollable weight gain. Her doctors advised gastric bypass surgery after her family’s attempts to manage the disorder through diet and exercise were unsuccessful. On March 21 the 208-lb. tween was admitted to a Cincinnati hospital for surgery, but complications arose due to the size of her liver. Instead doctors performed a gastric sleeve operation, reducing her stomach to 25 percent of its original size. “Sleeve gastrectomy is still expected to help Alexis lose weight, which will also reduce liver size,” the hospital reported in a tweet. Alexis is expected to have gastric bypass “at a later date.”
