She’s so happy,” a source told PEOPLE. The duo made their red carpet debut at the 65th Annual Emmy Awards on Sept. 22. • The Band Perry’s lead singer, Kimberly Perry, 30, said yes to Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia, 27. Arencibia popped the question on Sept. 30 beneath an oak tree at Perry’s parents’ home. The emerald-cut ring is more than 3 carats. The couple plan to wed next summer. BABIES It’s a girl for actress Rachael Leigh Cook, 33, and her husband The Vampire Diaries star Daniel Gillies, 37. “The tiny new empress of my everything. She’s immaculate. We’re delirious,” Gillies tweeted on Sept. 29 about the birth. The couple were married in 2004. “We’re both people who like kids, but we weren’t jumping up and down, like, ‘Oh my God, let’s start that chapter of our lives,'” Cook told PEOPLE in June of parenthood. “We just felt like it was the right time finally. We’re not getting any younger.” • Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 39, and his wife, Catriona McGinn, 34, welcomed their first child, Dekker Edward, in Los Angeles on Sept. 30. “He is healthy and just perfect – all we could ask for,” said Gosselaar. Gosselaar has two children from a previous marriage. LEGAL TROUBLES Singer Alanis Morissette (inset), 39, and her husband, Mario “Souleye” Treadway, 33, are being sued by their former nanny Bianca Cambeiro for unpaid overtime and harsh treatment. Cambeiro claims she worked 12-hour days, three to four days a week, and was paid $25 an hour without overtime. Cambeiro is seeking $100,000 for emotional distress and over $30,000 in unpaid wages. Morissette could not be reached for comment. EXPECTING Country crooner Lee Brice, 34, and his wife, Sara, 31, announced she’s pregnant. Brice revealed they’re expecting another son. “The only thing more beautiful than my Sara is my Sara carrying my second little baby boy! I’m gonna be a daddy again!!” he tweeted on Sept. 25. The couple, who tied the knot in April, also have a 3½-year-old, Takoda. RECOVERING Troubled teen star Amanda Bynes, 27, has moved from a psychiatric center to a rehab center in Malibu. “She is getting specialized psych care, not drug rehab,” said a family lawyer, adding that the actress is making great strides toward recovery. AMANDA KNOX RETRIAL On Sept. 30 Amanda Knox, 26, went on trial again for the 2007 slaying of her British roommate Meredith Kercher. Knox, who was acquitted of the killing in 2011 along with her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 29, did not appear in court. Sollecito and Kercher’s family were also a no-show as the trial began. Italy’s highest court is seeking to overturn the pair’s original acquittal, saying it was full of “deficiencies, contradictions and illogical” conclusions. Knox, who is currently a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, has not returned to Italy for the proceedings and is not obligated by law to do so.
