Toxicology reports revealed that Anna Nicole Smith‘s son Daniel succumbed to a lethal cocktail of methadone and the antidepressants Zoloft and Lexapro. The 20-year-old, who died at a Nassau, Bahamas, hospital last year while visiting his mother and newborn sister Dannielynn, also had five other drugs in his system, including two that medical personnel used in an attempt to revive him…. Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick (inset), 27, was sentenced in Richmond, Va., Dec. 10 to 23 months in prison for his involvement with the Bad Newz Kennels dogfighting operation on his Virginia property. “You were instrumental in promoting, funding and facilitating this cruel and inhumane sporting activity,” a judge told the NFL star, who was also fined $5,000 and ordered to serve three years supervised release after his incarceration…. A judge in Brockton, Mass., reduced the charges against Michael Riley, 34, and wife Carolyn, 33, in connection with the death of their 4-year-old daughter Rebecca (PEOPLE, April 9, 2007) from an overdose of several prescription drugs last December. Because there was no evidence proving premeditation, the Rileys will face second-degree murder charges. If convicted, they could be paroled after 15 years.


Actress Vivica A. Fox, 43, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of DUI in L.A. Dec. 7, stemming from her March arrest. The former Dancing with the Stars contestant was sentenced to three years probation and fined $1,170.


Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough, 34, tied the knot with real estate broker Leigh Boniello, 33, in his hometown of Orlando Dec. 8. “They high-fived each other in church,” says singer Deborah Gibson, a longtime pal. “They really are best friends.”


Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek, 67, was hospitalized in L.A. Dec. 11 after suffering a minor heart attack. “He is resting comfortably,” says a rep for the show. Doctors say he is expected to fully recuperate and return to the show when production resumes in early January…. Country singer Rosanne Cash, 52, is back home after undergoing brain surgery in New York City last month. The daughter of music legend Johnny Cash had been diagnosed with a neurological disorder affecting the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls balance…. Rapper Bow Wow (born Shad Moss), 20, is “in good spirits” after being rushed to the hospital following a concert in Cincinnati Dec. 6 for “a combination of exhaustion and stress,” his rep said the next day. He was released Dec. 8 and has resumed touring with singer Chris Brown.


Google cofounder Larry Page, 34, tied the knot with Stanford University Ph.D. candidate Lucy Southworth, 27, in the British Virgin Islands Dec. 9. Page and his bride welcomed about 200 guests at the ceremony held on exclusive Necker Island, owned by Virgin Group chairman Sir Richard Branson, who officiated. The groom’s billionaire status puts him in a tie with the Internet search engine’s other founder, Sergey Brin, at fifth place on the Forbes list of the richest Americans. Brin preceded his business partner down the aisle when he married biotech company executive Anne Wojcicki in May.
