Former Spice Girl (“Baby Spice”) Emma Bunton, 31, and boyfriend singer Jade Jones, 27, are expecting their first child. Pal and fellow Spice (“Posh”) Victoria Beckham, 32, tells PEOPLE, “I am so excited for Emma. She really will make a perfect mummy.” Joked Bunton: “I guess I will be handing over the ‘Baby’ tag now to a deserving little new owner!”


CSI: NY’s Anna Belknap, 34, and husband, actor Eric Siegel, 37, became first-time parents with the birth of their daughter on Jan. 14 in Los Angeles.


Alexandra Reeve, 23, daughter of actor Christopher Reeve, is engaged to her boyfriend of five years, former Yale classmate Garren Givens, 25. “Chris and Dana loved Garren,” a family friend says of Alexandra’s father and stepmother, both deceased. “He was very close to their family.”


Model Niki Taylor, 31, filed suit against E! Entertainment Television Inc. in L.A. Jan. 26, claiming producers misled her about the nature of an interview series in which she appeared. Taylor charges she was told the show, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, would spotlight her “recent accomplishments” and future plans but that the Jan. 22 episode focused “on inaccurate portrayals of tragic events in Ms. Taylor’s past.” A rep for the network declined to comment…. Paris Hilton, 25, filed a federal lawsuit in L.A. Jan. 29 seeking to shut down ParisExposed.com, a Web site run by Bardia Persa that shows photos, videos and other possessions Hilton had kept in storage. Persa claims he bought the items after they were auctioned due to Hilton’s failure to pay storage fees. The actress’s rep said she wants “all of these [things] returned to her.”


Mike Tyson, 40, has checked into the L.A. rehab facility Wonderland Center (where Lindsay Lohan has recently undergone treatment). Though his rep would not confirm that Tyson admitted himself, he did say that the boxer is “taking care of himself and is hoping to get on solid ground.”


Nicole Kidman, 39, was briefly hospitalized Jan. 25 after a stunt car she was in crashed into a light pole on the L.A. set of her movie The Invasion, police said. Kidman suffered no serious injuries and was back at work the next day.


Sidney Sheldon, 89, author of Rage of Angels and The Other Side of Midnight, died Jan. 30 of pneumonia in Rancho Mirage, Calif. Sheldon, whose award-winning career spanned TV, film and stage, created the series I Dream of Jeannie…. Four days after becoming the world’s oldest living person, Emma Faust Tillman, 114, of East Hartford, Conn., died Jan. 28. Yone Minagawa, 114, of Fukuoka, Japan, is now said to be the oldest human.
