Comic Kevin Meaney, 45, was arrested at the San Francisco International Airport on March 3 after allegedly getting into a scuffle with a National Guardsman who told him that he couldn’t shoot video footage of a security checkpoint. Meaney, who was charged with attempting to take a firearm from an officer, battery and disturbing the peace, will be in court on April 8. Meaney’s lawyer said the incident was “a terrible misunderstanding.”
