LAST TIME I CURSED

I don’t think I have today. That’s unusual, actually. I find it’s quite satisfying when used appropriately and in context. And it’s quite often, which is why I can’t remember.

LAST GAME I PLAYED

For the last couple of months, my kids have been big on me being a monster. I generally jump and growl and pretend to eat them. I can only do it for so long, but they would do it for hours on end.

LAST THING I COOKED

A boiled egg yesterday morning for breakfast. I’m good at eggs, smoothies and salads. Smoothies are the easiest way to sneak healthy things into little people’s stomachs. Just put in as many green things as possible.

LAST TIME I CRIED

I took my daughter to see the musical Cinderella yesterday, and she loved it. Just seeing her so overwhelmed with excitement made me get teary.

LAST TIME I SAW THE SUNSET

Pretty much every night since I moved to New York in July. We have the most incredible view. It tends to be a moment when I’m taking a breath and the kids have gone to bed. It just makes me smile.
