LAST TIME I DANCED

Yesterday with my son Hal during his camp sing-along. When they counted down, I had to throw him up in the air. If your 4-year-old says, “Daddy, you want to dance?” you don’t say no.

I LAST SAID I WAS SORRY …

Probably a few minutes ago to my wife [Katie Wright]. We’re moving in, so there are a lot of problems. I say “sorry” about every 15 to 20 minutes.

LAST TIME I WAS NERVOUS

I got asked to throw out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium about two months ago. I threw it about 20 feet wide from home plate. I didn’t get a chance to practice.

I LAST HEARD ‘I LOVE YOU’ …

This morning. It’s loud on the streets here in New York, so I pulled out the walkie-talkies to use with the stroller. Hal kept telling me he loved me in the walkie-talkie. “Dad?” “Yeah?” “I still love you.” “Oh good, nothing’s changed.”

LAST TIME I WAS RECOGNIZED

The guy painting our apartment asked me if I was the guy from Godzilla. I was trapped and had nowhere to run, so I said yes. He kept asking if I was the guy who almost got stepped on.
