My daughters [Finley, 8, Avery, 6, and Emery, 3] on Skype. They’re in North Carolina, and I’m filming in L.A. We talk every day after bath time and before their bedtime.

LAST THING I COOKED

I made teriyaki salmon and roasted broccoli last time I was home. One of my kids and my husband [Jason Sehorn] have a royal sweet tooth, so I have to make things sweet.

LAST TIME I FORGOT MY WALLET

I forgot it when I went to meet with book agents in New York City, and the agent I had never met had to come down and pay my taxi for me, then give me money to get home.

LAST HANGOVER I HAD

After the NASCAR All-Star race. Our family friend Jimmie Johnson won, and we all went ballistic partying. Give me a pitcher of beer and chicken wings, and that’s my kind of party.

LAST TV SHOW I WATCHED

O.M.G. The Deadliest Catch. I watched a full-day marathon, and then I had to leave right as Chris got medevaced off the boat. I still don’t know what happened to him!
