Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi: No Bikini for Me!

One tried and true mantra of the Jersey Shore cast: If you love it, flaunt it. (Cue “The Situation’s” ab-baring shirt lift!) But don’t mistake Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s choice to masquerade around Miami in one-piece bathing suits for a lack of confidence. “My self-image is fine,” says the 4’9″ reality star, who wasn’t intimidated to film the second season of the MTV reality show alongside her bikini-clad costars Jenni “J-Woww” Farley and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola. “I do what I want, and I would rather wear a sexy one-piece bathing suit,” says Snooki, 22. “They are more provocative. It makes guys want to see more of me.” But after weeks of downing oversize cocktails and noshing on junk food, Snooki is the first to admit she’s not exactly in the best shape of her life. “I’m just a normal person, not a model,” she says. “We all have flaws. We work within them to look our best.” So as soon as she returns to her parents’ home in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., “I plan to go back to eating salads and chicken-with no drinking,” says the former cheerleader, who’ll incorporate some old routines back into her workout. “I am pretty happy with myself now,” Snooki says. But “I want to feel better.”
