‘I pray the police find Erin!’

The Marine, His Wife & Their Neighbor

There are so many possibilities as to what could have happened to missing mili-tary wife Erin Corwin. My thoughts are with the family right now. This is heart-wrenching. Let’s keep looking for Erin: She needs our help.

The Bachelorette

I was so intrigued by Andi Dorfman’s interaction with Juan Pablo last season that I watched her on The Bachelorette. I wanted her to choose Josh from the beginning—I hope they get married on the show.

Disappointed by your Q&A with Andi and Josh. There wasn’t anything in it that wasn’t covered on After the Final Rose, and you didn’t ask the question people are interested in: How did Josh feel after hearing Nick say that he and Andi “made love” in the fantasy suite?

Chris Pratt

I’ve loved Guardians of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt since he was on Everwood. As a husband and father, he seems so down-to-earth—like the great neighbor next door.

Transgender Victory

Who cares about the sex change? Man or woman, transgender activist and WWII vet Robina Asti fought for our country—something so many of us won’t do. Thank you for your service to this country!

People UPDATE

Miracle Baby Turns 1

The day after U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s daughter was born, House Speaker John Boehner sent Beutler a note saying he’d love to introduce Abigail on the House floor the first time she came to Washington. On July 23—eight days after she turned 1—a choked-up Boehner did just that. “It was a wonderful way to celebrate her 1-year coming-out party,” says Beutler, who got bipartisan standing ovations as she held Abigail and as Boehner introduced Dr. Jessica Bienstock, the Johns Hopkins Hospital perinatologist who treated Abigail’s Potter syndrome in utero with saline injections, which saved her life. Although Abigail still has to undergo a kidney transplant, “she is doing great,” says Beutler, who, with her husband, Dan, has planned a country-fair-themed birthday party for later this month.
