1. MY DAUGHTERS
Keely and Kendyl are the lights of my life; they mean everything to me. I like being the only guy in the house. I value that traditional role of being provider and protector.
2. MY PARENTS
They split up when I was 3, but I give them a lot of credit. They were both very supportive of me, very involved. I didn’t feel deprived.
3. MY CAREER
I get to make a living and provide for my family doing something I really love to do.
4. MY TRACTOR
I have a 20-acre farm, and I cut grass with it, cut hay, move dirt, pull stumps. It makes living on a farm a lot easier.
5. GIVING BACK
My wife’s best friend died of breast cancer. She was only 29, and it was pretty devastating. We wanted something good to come out of that, so we started Concert for the Cure to raise funds. I am grateful that something so tragic can inspire us to bring hope to others.
6. MY MAN BARN
Some guys just have a cave, but I have a whole barn. It was an old tobacco barn on this property when I bought it, so I turned it into a full-service bar. We’ve got pool tables, shuffleboard, lots of televisions. And we hire a karaoke guy to come out sometimes.
