Need to lay a rumor to rest? Where better than a cemetery? At the Hollywood Forever Cemetery for the April 11 premiere of his new thriller The Tripper, DAVID ARQUETTE did his best to silence reports of marital strife with COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE. “At every turn, it’s my job to be loving and honest to her,” the actor gushed of his wife of nearly eight years. (The two spent the evening whispering affectionately.) “If there is one thing about our relationship, there are no surprises.” Adds Arquette’s sister PATRICIA: “Deep down inside, they’re very similar. They balance each other.”

Fashionable friends GWYNETH PALTROW, NAOMI WATTS, KATE HUDSON and LIV TYLER brought serious celeb sparkle to a dinner for the launch of the Tom Ford Menswear collection April 11 at Manhattan’s Carlyle Hotel. Hudson and Tyler came as “each other’s dates,” says one party source. “They were laughing a lot and in a great mood. It was a girls’ night.”

M.K.’s got game: After arriving at a T-Mobile Sidekick iD launch party at L.A.’s Ivar Studios with sister ASHLEY April 13, MARY-KATE OLSEN “was smiling from ear to ear” while shooting hoops at the arcade, says a fellow guest. “She was totally giddy.”

MARILYN MANSON, 38, told France’s Le Parisien that girlfriend EVAN RACHEL WOOD, 19, is his “twin.” Despite their age difference, he added, “She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn.”

VINCE VAUGHN drank beers with pals at Los Angeles’s Velvet Margarita Cantina on April 14 before hitting Parc, where, a source says, “He chatted with a pretty, young brunette.” But he left solo.
