BASH FOR A BIG B-DAY

To celebrate his 60th (again), former President BILL CLINTON threw a blowout Sept. 9, complete with sparklers and a cupcake tower. KEVIN SPACEY worked the crowd, JON BON JOVI rocked out, and BILLY CRYSTAL cracked jokes. (Sample: “They called me [to be] part of this 60th-birthday celebration for the most charismatic, powerful person in the free world. I said, ‘Hillary is 60?'”) Held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, the party for 600 raised $20 million for the William J. Clinton Foundation, which supports HIV/AIDS treatment and other causes. “It was great,” Crystal told Insider. “Poke a little fun, raise $20 million!”

NICOLE & KEITH: FASHIONABLY GREAT

NICOLE KIDMAN just can’t seem to shake that newly wedded bliss. At a Sept. 7 dinner party in London for DONATELLA VERSACE, the actress and her husband of three months, KEITH URBAN, “looked like a couple still on their honeymoon,” a guest tells Insider. Also at the bash (hosted by Elton John’s husband, DAVID FURNISH, at their home): ELLE MACPHERSON and ELIZABETH HURLEY. “It was,” Furnish tells Insider, “an amazing night.”

FAST TAKES

The three amigos are back! JAKE GYLLENHAAL (above) joined MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY and LANCE ARMSTRONG in Austin, Texas, Sept. 8, where they ate sushi and downed sake at local hot spot Kenichi.

Could CHRISTIE BRINKLEY’s daughter ALEXA RAY JOEL have a message for Mom’s estranged husband, PETER COOK? In her single “Now It’s Gone,” Joel sings, “You threw away the love of your pretty little wife…. You may have held a queen but you’ll always be a fool.”

Restaurant veto? HEIDI KLUM (left), SEAL and kids Leni, 2, and 1-year-old Henry were enjoying dinner at N.Y.C.’s SushiSamba 7 on Sept. 10—but when Henry started to cry, the clan beat a hasty retreat.
