New Line Cinema chiefs Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne sure know how to throw an interesting party. Among the 50 guests at Shaye’s Beverly Hills home for a recent dinner were Ted Turner and his ex Jane Fonda, as well as Jack Nicholson and his estranged former girlfriend Anjelica Huston. A gallant Turner even walked Fonda to her car when she decided to duck out of the party early.

Tori Spelling celebrated her 31st birthday May 15 at L.A. sushi hot spot Tokio with 20 people, including parents Aaron and Candy….American Idol reject Matthew Metzger, booted off just before the final 12, will play Duke Buchanan on the daytime soap One Life to Live.
