On the iCarly set, “We have a great time; everyone’s great friends,” says the show’s creator Dan Schneider. “It’s really true.” Schneider, who starred in the 1980s sitcom Head of the Class, also masterminded the Nickelodeon comedies Zoey 101 and Drake & Josh. He came up with the iCarly concept back in 2006 as a way of empowering kids. “My shows are about kids taking on the world,” he says. “I thought, ‘Let’s let her create her own show on the Internet.’ ” Schneider is so fond of the iCarly cast that he keeps photo documentation of their time together. In addition to sharing some of his shots, Schneider provided the captions for each of the pictures.
