At Sony BMG’s bash at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Chris Brown chatted up Aretha Franklin, who brought hot dogs from Pink’s hot dog stand, and Epic Records president Charlie Walk threw a late-night bash at the Thompson Beverly Hills hotel, where Paris Hilton hit the dance floor with Avril Lavigne. ARE THEY OR AREN’T THEY? At the EW party, Rihanna cuddled up to rumored beau Chris Brown, though Brown told PEOPLE, “We’re just friends … we hang out.” Kid Rock hung with Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber at Warner Music Group’s fete at L.A.’s Vibiana.
