John Leguizamo would like to issue a warning about the serious health risks associated with his 12-episode arc on ER “I feel like I could really operate on somebody—and hurt them really badly,” says the actor, 45, who plays the new supervising physician. “A little bit of knowledge can be really hurtful. I’d be like, ‘I know how to do this—I play a doctor on TV.’ Then I’d open them up, and then I’d say, ‘Oh my God, what is that? I didn’t have an episode on this yet!’ ”

Lost’s Maggie Grace credits the hit show’s secluded Hawaiian location for the cast’s tight bond. “I think it made us sink or swim together,” says Grace, 22, currently starring in the thriller The Fog. “In L.A., where everyone had their own life, I’m sure we’d all be friends, but it wouldn’t be the group that it is.” But the actress would like to say buh-bye to one Lost experience. “A couple of guys have tried to make out with my hand under the guise of the old custom of kissing a woman’s hand,” she says. “It got a bit strange. I was like, ‘Okay, dude, that’s enough.’ ”

Sure, there are overprotective dads and husbands, but a tsk-tsking toddler? Sarah Jessica Parker knows one: Her 3-year-old, James Wilkie. “He’s like, Take that dress off. I don’t like it. I’d like you to wear pants,’ ” says Parker, 40, who stars in the comedy The Family Stone, of her son’s fashion advice. “Or, ‘Uh, I see your belly!’ He doesn’t like to see any skin.” But Manhattan’ s youngest working stylist doesn’t mind being flamboyant himself. “He is obsessed with the Beatles—the Yellow Submarine era—collars with flowers on them and weird haircuts,” says Parker. “He wants us all to dress like [that]. He’s particularly fond of bell-bottoms—that’s the only way we can get him out of pajamas.”

Lindsay Lohan‘s slender figure has invited strangers to weigh in on her diet, but her Prairie Home Companion costar Woody Harrelson isn’t one of them. “We were in the makeup trailer and Lindsay says, ‘Everybody told me you’d lecture me about my diet,’ ” says Harrelson, 44, a strict vegan. “I said, ‘I don’t believe in lectures anymore. It puts people off.’ ” Though he didn’t chide Lohan, the actor did revert to his old ways. “After Lindsay left, I turned to my makeup girl and said, ‘Have I talked to you about dairy?’ I launched into a 20-minute tirade. Afterwards she quit dairy. She’s still off it—and I have to thank Lindsay.”
