When Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley, 28, first met Brittney Cole, 23, in 2011, he was interested – but unavailable. Both he and Cole were dating other people, and they didn’t even live in the same state. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t meant to be. “She definitely caught my eye,” Kelley admits of that night. “I think she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I always knew in my heart that if we were single, I wanted a chance.” That chance came last summer when, both single, they reconnected. “That first day we hung out again, we just knew it was something real,” says Kelley. “I never wanted to make someone my wife before, but I just knew that I couldn’t live without her.”

Seven months after reconnecting, the couple made it official with a low-key wedding on their 32-acre Nashville property on Dec. 16. Surrounded by 40 friends and family members, the pair exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony, then partied into the night in a renovated barn strung with Edison lights. “It was very bohemian and whimsical,” says Cole, a psychology student, who wore a lacy L.A. Dreamers dress she found on Etsy.com. “There were lights galore, and it was cozy, fun and warm. It wasn’t a black-and-white affair—just our personalities meshing and becoming this fun party.” So now that they’re married, are kids on the horizon? The duo say yes, but they’re going to wait a bit. “We’re thinking about a dog this time next year!” says Kelley. “One day for sure, but it’s too crazy with everything going on right now, and we’re enjoying being together.”
