When he’s not wooing women in the Bachelor mansion, Brad Womack lives in the real world in a home that’s a far cry from his lavish TV digs. His intimate Austin loft features a few “bachelor pad” trademarks (white shag carpet, check) juxtaposed with more design-savvy details, like a cascading shell chandelier, a hand-carved dining table and a distressed leather couch. “I love to lie on the couch with a woman underneath a blanket and watch a movie,” says Womack, 38, who adds that romantic nights have been rare since his first Bachelor stint in 2007, when he famously didn’t choose either of the final two women. But this time around (his new season begins Jan. 3 on ABC), “I’m absolutely in love,” says Womack, who keeps his digs “meticulously clean.” After all, “it’s one open room. If I have a woman in my life, we have to be really comfortable with each other.”
