look of the week
Mary Phillips and Lorenzo Martin gave the singer a fresh look for her Viva Móvil store opening
“We wanted a soft and easy summer style,” says hairstylist Lorenzo Martin. He began with root-lifting spray for volume and smoothing serum for control. He then blew her hair dry and set it with jumbo rollers before brushing the look into place.
“Don’t pile on powder to keep summer moisture at bay,” says Phillips, who prefers blotting sheets “to absorb excess moisture without disrupting the makeup.”
Phillips curled Lopez’s lashes, then applied two coats of mascara to the top lashes only. “I gave her a fuller brow, less defined than usual.”
Phillips brushed “a little bit of blush on top of bronzer to instantly ensure a sun-kissed look.”
We decided on “a bright lip, adding gloss for dimension and impact,” says Phillips, who applied the color with her fingertips.

MILEY CYRUS, 20
Show off your skin.
Your face is at its prime, so don’t cover it with layers of foundation. Try a BB cream and use a good concealer. “It’s the one product that will always be in your makeup bag,” says Dubroff. Use sunblock and remove your makeup every single night.

Establish a skin-care routine.

Mask the signs of aging.
Add a primer to fill in pores and erase fine lines. Use it alone or under makeup. Eyebrows start to diminish so fill in sparse areas. “A defined brow improves the look of the entire face,” says Dubroff.
