Before the couple found out in January that they will be welcoming a little boy sometime this month, the pair were split about the gender.
“I still think it’s a girl,” Zach says in a clip of Little People, Big World.
But Tori has the opposite “instinct” and believes that the couple will be having a little boy: “It’s funny because my instinct tells me the exact opposite.”
“Girls are kind of a nightmare when they’re teenagers,” explains Tori. “Girls are more responsible. I would say I am like 10 million times more responsible than my brother, but I gave my mom and dad a lot more B.S. than my brother did.”
“I feel like boys are harder in the beginning and easier later on. Girls are easier in the beginning, but harder later on,” adds the expecting mama, who jokes to her husband: “If you could have seen the teenager I was, you probably would not be sitting next to me right now.”
With their first child’s arrival not far off, the parents-to-be brainstorm names for their little bundle of joy — but they aren’t exactly on the same page about a first name.
“I like Jack. Do you know what I really like? I like Mikey,” says Zach, who admits that he likes “a little bit more traditional names” like Timothy.
“Okay, what are your names? You don’t like any of my names,” Zach asks Tori.
“I really like Noah,” she tells him. “I like names that not everyone has. You know, like when your child goes to school, he’s one of the only kids that has that name.”

When Tori suggests Malachi as a first name, Zach stutters when he repeats it back, and reveals, “If I can’t pronounce them, we’re not naming our kid it.”
But if the couple is opting for a Bible-inspired name, Zach has another idea on the brain: “How about for a boy, Boaz?”
And although the Roloffs are welcoming a boy this month, should they welcome a little girl sometime in the future, Tori has already suggested some first name contenders: “I like Lyla, Ellie — I like Ella.”
The couple announced back in November that they were expecting their first child together, but decided to wait until after the holidays to find out the sex.
“We are waiting until after Christmas to know the gender to go crazy buying things,” Tori told PEOPLE. “We are just enjoying the moment right now.”
“We are super excited and can’t wait to be parents,” the couple said after announcing that they were expecting.
