Watch President Obama Read Mean Tweets for the Final Time as Commander-in-Chief

Updated

President Obama is now in the home stretch as either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be crowned the next president in just a few weeks. And his end-of-term approval ratings may be on the rise again following his latest visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

POTUS read some #MeanTweets for the second time as part of his Monday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel‘s ABC late-night show in Los Angeles. “Barack Obama, bro do you even lift?” one tweet reads as the president responds, “Well, I lifted the ban on Cuban cigars. That’s worth something.”

Obama couldn’t help laughing while reading another tweet that called him “loud, stupid and over-hyped” in other words the “sharknado of presidents.”

And he couldn’t resist but make a dig at the GOP nominee. “President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!” Obama read Trump’s tweet, adding, “Really? Well, @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down as a president.”

The Commander in Chief previously did the #MeanTweets bit in March 2015, which went viral with over 46 million views on YouTube.

While Obama hilariously reacted to some #MeanTweets, he also touched on some mean tweets that have made the headlines this election season. “I don’t tweet at 3 a.m. about people who insult me,” the president said, referencing Trump’s erratic early morning tweets in September.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.
