You might think Dr. Phil McGraw would be out of new Valentine’s Day gift ideas after almost 40 years with his wife Robin – but you’d be wrong.

To celebrate the romantic holiday this year, the talk show host got creative and asked his son Jordan, 29, and his son’s band Hundred Handed to perform a love song for his wife.

A clip of McGraw, 65, surprising Robin, 62, with the performance of the song (which is appropriately titled “Doctor” and features Kato and the Ellis Alice) will air on The Dr. Phil Show on Friday – and PEOPLE has the exclusive sneak peek of the performance.

The McGraws will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary later this year.

The Dr. Phil Show airs weekdays (check local listings).
