Attention Teen Wolf fans: with less than a month left to wait before the season 6 premiere, PEOPLE has an exclusive clip of Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and the spooky new villains that will be featured in the final season of the hit MTV show.
“The legend has always been that the Wild Hunt takes people, the truth is much worse,” Dr. Alan Deaton (Seth Gilliam) warns Scott in the clip of the villainous Ghost Riders. “They erase people from reality.”
Viewers watch as dramatic flashes of the Ghost Riders take people away, while Scott vows they’ll find a way “to protect them, all of them,” he says, leading to the question about O’Brien’s character Stiles.
“Where’s Stiles?” someone asks, breathlessly. It’s a good question, where is Stiles? From what audiences see in the clip, it appears that he might’ve been one of the Ghost Riders’ first victims.
“Somebody’s going to remember me,” Stiles says in a voiceover as he is seen standing alone in a dark, empty hallway (or railroad tracks?). “They’ll come for me,” he says.
Just in time for Halloween too, this glimpse of the Ghost Riders is giving fans Sleepy Hollow/Headless Horseman-themed vibes. For those curious about how much screen time O’Brien and his character Stiles will get this season, showrunner Jeff Davis told Entertainment Weekly that Scott’s BFF is a major part of this season’s storyline.
“Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season’s mystery revolves around him,” Davis said. “We’re going to see just what Stiles’ friendship means to Scott, Lydia, and Malia. We’re going to see why exactly he’s Scott’s best friend, what it means that he’s Malia’s human anchor, and what his will-they-or-won’t-they relationship is with Lydia.”
The sixth and final season of Teen Wolf premieres Nov. 15 on MTV.
