Updated

How is this for a “Time Warp”?

The hosts of the Today show got into the spirit of the holiday by revealing their impressive Halloween costumes Monday morning, all with a throwback to the 1990s.

Carson Daly kicked things off by transforming into his younger self to host a special episode of TRL counting down the most iconic moments of the decade.

The cast all played their roles to perfection, with Al Roker dressing up as Steve Urkel from Family MattersSavannah Guthrie channeling a pregnant Demi Moore in her famous Vanity Fair cover and Matt Lauer donning the iconic puffy shirt from Seinfeld.

Daly wasn’t the only one to spoof himself. Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb took it back to Gifford’s days on Live! However, Gifford dressed as Regis Philbin while Kotb took on her co-host. (The real Philbin even made a cameo!)

Of course, the winner of the cutest costume goes to Charlie the dog, who dressed up as an adorable Beanie Baby.

Setting the tone for the morning was Smash Mouth, the band behind earworms such as “All Star” and “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby.”

The morning show churns out epic Halloween costumes year after year. Last year, they dressed up as the Peanuts gang (complete with faux mini ears!). In 2011, they went as the British royal family in full royal wedding garb. In 2009, it was Star Wars, with Hoda as Yoda (naturally.)

In a teaser for this year’s costume reveal, a trio of zombies makes their mark on New York — including getting a cab ride from Daly.
