It’s not really about the beef tartare.
On Thursday’s episode of Bethenny Getting Married? bride-to-be/mom-to-be Bethenny Frankel is planning the menu for her wedding to Jason Hoppy, who’s on the couch watching basketball when she asks him about beef tartare.
“Baby, the game’s on,” he says.
“I know it’s March Madness,” Bethenny replies. “If you want to see March Madness, you’ll see a pregnant woman light her friggin’ hair on fire and go crazy right now.”
Bethenny is upset because he’s not helping with wedding plans. But Jason says he’s “caught between a rock and a hard place” because “she’s putting the blame on me for not getting more involved but I know there’s no way she would let me make decisions without consulting with her.”
Without getting up off the couch, Jason calms Bethenny down, reminding her about the real reason they’re tying the knot. “Are we getting married for us or are we getting married for the production?” he asks. “That’s all I want to know.”
Tell us: Who’s right in this situation? Should Jason turn off the game and help out – or humor her at least? Or should Bethenny, who’s a chef and possibly a bridezilla, plan the menu herself?
