The Doctors' Travis Stork Looks Back on His Overnight Transformation from Physician to Flirtation on The Bachelor

Posted on

Travis Stork says becoming The Bachelor literally happened overnight.

In an exclusive clip from Thursday’s The Doctors, the host says appearing on 2006’s season 8 of The Bachelor began with a chance encounter.

Stork, 43, recounts how during a night on the town with some of his fellow ER doctors, the group ran into someone who worked on The Bachelor.

“The next thing you know, I’m literally in Paris as the Bachelor,” says Stork.” What I didn’t expect was coming back and then feeling like I then had to justify all the hard work I put in. Because I worked really hard in med school and residency. I worked hard, and my record speaks for itself.”

Stork’s season saw him chose teacher Sarah Stone, but the relationship had fizzled by the time the season finale had aired. He wed pediatrician Dr. Charlotte Brown in 2012 and the pair divorced in spring 2015.
