Her midwestern charm and natural beauty had some Bachelor fans stunned when Caila Quinn was not named the next Bachelorette.
But the 24-year-old Ohio native may be the least disappointed of all, instead seeming genuinely thrilled with where life has taken her.
“I’m kickstarting my life, and it’s wonderful,” she told PEOPLE at the Kindred Foundation for Adoption’s 2nd Annual Gala this week.

Though she did suffer heartbreak, it seems that the brunette bombshell’s days of disappointment are behind her as she starts a new chapter in New York City.
“I moved here a week ago!” she told PEOPLE.
The former software sales rep not only has a new home, but she’s also begun a brand new career as the marketing manager for fitness start-up BollyX, which is expanding internationally starting in Vancouver.
And with all the excitement in her life, Quinn said she has nothing but love for the latest Bachelorette reality star.
“I really am genuinely excited for JoJo,” she shared. “She is the kindest person; I hope she meets the one.”
As for her own journey to find love, it’s not surprising that she has a positive outlook: “I have gone on a couple dates and I’m excited – there are a lot of eligible bachelors!”
“Anyone and everyone deserves love,” she added. “I’ll find it – this just wasn’t my path.”
