brightcove.createExperiences(); On Monday night’s episode of Bachelor Live – the last live after-show of the season – host Chris Harrison gifted us with perhaps the best teaser of all time: a clip of Ben Higgins committing the ultimate Bachelor no-no and telling two women he’s in love with them at the same time.
“I told two women this week that I love them,” Higgins says in the clip, as craftily-edited footage of him professing his love to two different mystery women unfolds.
“Honestly, I do love you,” he says while holding hands with one girl, before reaching for another one and saying, “This is really hard for me because I’ve known I’m in love with you for a while as well.”
“I love both of them,” he says in another scene, during what appears to be a hometown date with two parents. “They’re too good to walk away from and I just don’t know.”
Eventually, though, it appears Higgins does make the difficult decision “to say goodbye to a woman that doesn’t deserve it” as he’s shown closing a limo door behind one of them.
“Saying goodbye to her doesn’t feel right, and this is the biggest mistake I’ve made,” Higgins says, crying. “I want to keep her in my life, I don’t want to say goodbye, ’cause that’s how much I love her.”

After the clip played, Harrison told Higgins, “Truly this has never happened, you told two women you loved them, and that’s where you are right now.”
“Coming into this, you really don’t know what to expect and if you have expectations oftentimes they’ll have to be changed throughout the season,” Higgins said.
“I did fall in love with two women during this,” he said. “Going into it I didn’t think I could, but I really tried to concentrate and make each relationship its own. You know, stay open to the process, and as a result this is where it’s left us.”
Does that mean he’s still deciding? The finale can’t come soon enough!
The Bachelor airs Mondays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
