But as she counts down the days to her upcoming release, scheduled for Dec. 23, she’s also been keeping busy. PEOPLE reports exclusively in this week’s issue that Giudice is preparing to release a tell-all memoir.
Though her new Bravo special Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, depicts some of what she and her family is going through, her upcoming book, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, to be released on Feb. 9, 2016 by Gallery Books, will chronicle Giudice’s entire journey, from the good times to serving hard time.
“While we’ve all watched Teresa’s life unfold on television, Turning the Tables will mark the first time we will hear all of Teresa’s incredible life story, including her recent stint in prison”, says publisher Jennifer Bergstrom.
The book, written with PEOPLE staff writer K.C. Baker, will begin with tales of Giudice’s humble, Italian-American upbringing and delve into how, after starting a family and leading a lavish life onscreen and off, she wound up behind bars, largely cut off from husband Joe and their four young daughters Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 6.
This won’t be Giudice’s first literary foray. She’s already a New York Times bestselling author with cooking and lifestyle titles Skinny, Italian, Fabulicious!, Fabulicious: Fast and Fit! and Fabulicious! On the Grill.
