“The whole time we were filming [season 3], I had no idea what other people were saying about me,” Giudice, 39, writes in her latest blog for BravoTV.com. “I just assumed they were all my friends.”
Though she specifically refers to “the other ladies having a go at me” on the show, Giudice may as well have been addressing costar Jacqueline Laurita, who earlier this week vented about Giudice on Twitter.
Among her Twitter claims: that Giudice told everyone her sister-in-law, and fellow Jersey housewife, Melissa Gorga, once worked as a stripper. (Gorga subsequently denied that in a blog of her own.)
And Laurita pointedly Tweeted, “Teresa is scum.”
Meanwhile, sources told PEOPLE that Laurita has quit the Bravo show, which has already begun taping season 4. Rumors also abounded that she – and costar Caroline Manzo – were actually let go from the show for season 5.
But no one has been fired as of now, says Bravo, who told PEOPLE in a statement, “All five cast members will be featured on season four. No decisions have been made about season five at this time.”
Taking a Twitter Break
As it stands now, Giudice, who faced an $11 million bankruptcy and family feud as part of season 3’s plot, says that her costars may talk about her failings behind her back, but she’s taking the high road.
“I don’t talk about personalities or their kids or how they spend their money, or how smart I think they are,” she writes on her blog. “I say, ‘She pissed me off, but I’m not going to let it bother me.’ ”
And she writes: “Cut to everyone else: ‘Teresa can’t be reasoned with, Teresa was dropped on her head as a baby,’ all about my ‘character flaws’ and how I didn’t ‘grow up,’ how I’m ‘cuckoo.’ I had no idea they were bashing me like that.”
As for her recent Twitter war with Laurita, Giudice says she’s taking a break from Tweeting.
“I don’t think it’s a very healthy place to be right now,” she writes. “(I just can’t take anyone who’s suddenly friends again with Kim G. seriously, sorry!), so I’m going to slowly slip out of it and maybe take a little break for a while.”
