The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was showered with love on Sunday as her husband sent flowers from prison to celebrate their special day.
“What a surprise got these beautiful roses from Joe for our Anniversary today October 23, 1999,” Teresa, 44, wrote on Instagram and Twitter on Sunday. “I spent 17 years married with man that I know my whole life pretty amazing adore and love him.”
And there wasn’t just one surprise, there were two!
“I also just got more flowers for our 17 Year Wedding Anniversary!!! Love my honey #grateful #love #soulmate,” the mother of four captioned her second photo. The card on the latter bouquet read: “Happy Anniversary Love you with all my heart – Joe.”
Though the married couple won’t be able to spend the day together at home, the reality star explained that their love is strong than ever.
“We’re going to be married 17 years … and I can tell he’s really into me still, which is a good thing!” Teresa recently told E! News. “I guess I’m doing something right. I can’t wait for him to come home and he can’t wait to come home, so obviously we’re doing something right.”
Teresa recently revealed to PEOPLE that the father of four has been working out hard during his incarceration and is already down 35 lbs.
“He’s running, he’s doing 1,000 sit-ups a day,” she explained. “So he lifts weights and that’s what he’s doing. Just running, working out and then a lot of push-ups and sit-ups.”
Another milestone Joe missed was his daughter Gabriella’s 12th birthday. On Saturday, the Giudice family celebrated with a party that included a large 12-shaped cake and a mechanical bull that sisters Milania, 10, and Audriana, 7, enjoyed.
Teresa’s sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, who is Gabriella’s godmother, was also at the party.
