Welcome to fatherhood, Rob Kardashian!
“Rob needs to get in shape because he’s about to be a new dad,” explains Disick, 32. “I wish I could say that only sometimes parenting is chaotic, but it’s pretty much at all times, 24 hours a day. It’s just difficult all around. So I figured I’d bring Rob to a friend’s daycare center and see if he can really be hands-on when the kid is not plastic.”
Kardashian appears hesitant upon arrival, but Disick encourages him to “get in there.” His first challenge? Dealing with one very unhappy little boy, who crawls away from Kardashian in tears. (“We’ve got a runner!” jokes Disick.)
As the chorus of crying kids grows louder and louder, Disick plops down on the couch and starts reading a magazine.
“Scott, are you going to do anything?” demands Kardashian, 29.
“This is for you to start to understand the responsibilities of children — I already know. I’ve been in this game for years,” says Disick, who shares three kids with Rob’s sister Kourtney.
Kardashian heads upstairs, only to discover the little boy has made a complete mess. (“That’s not bad,” notes Disick. “That’s a normal day!”)
Kardashian tries to comfort the child while simultaneously cleaning up after him.
“Get ready, Rob,” warns Disick. “This is going to be every day. For the rest of your life!”
But despite giving him a hard time, Disick says he’s fully confident in Kardashian’s parenting abilities.
“I feel like I tried to make this like a little bit of a lesson or experience, but I realize that you’re a good-hearted person and you’re going to be a good-hearted dad,” he tells Kardashian. “That you can’t teach. You’re going to be unbelievable with your daughter.”

“There’s definitely a couple of things that Rob needs to learn, but that’s the key word. He can learn them,” adds Disick. “At the end of the day, he definitely has the heart of a parent and I think he’s going to be an unbelievable one.”
“Rob is getting used to taking care of his daughter. He was a little nervous at first, because she’s so tiny,” a source recently told PEOPLE of the new father. “He seems very eager to learn how to care for her. He’s changing diapers and very hands-on. He keeps saying that Dream is the most beautiful baby he has ever seen!”
