The return to rehab comes three months after his split with Kourtney Kardashian, his girlfriend of nine years, and news of Disick’s check-in surfaced the day after Kourtney’s sister Khloé learned on Tuesday that her own ex Lamar Odom had been found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.
A source told PEOPLE earlier this week that Disick, 32, returned to rehab after receiving an ultimatum from Kardashian about being able to see their kids: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 10 months.
“He wants to make it stick this time because he has come close to losing everything,” the source said.
The source noted that Disick checked in well before Odom was rushed to the hospital and likely didn’t know about Odom’s health crisis: “They don’t want it to interfere with his progress.” (Odom awoke from the four-day coma on Friday afternoon, PEOPLE has confirmed.)

Disick entered a Costa Rican rehab facility in March for one week and told PEOPLE he was not finished with his treatment.
“It helped me dramatically to see some of the things that have troubled me in the past, but I’m not done,” he told PEOPLE at the time. “I plan to go back, and I hope it helps me even more to get to a point where I’m fully cured of some of things that I struggle with.”
