The Olympian revealed that he’s not opposed to another reality show documenting his life, but this time with his new fiancée, Kayla Rae Reid.
“We’ve thought about it,” Lochte shared with ET‘s Nischelle Turner during a break from a DWTS practice session. “We’ve already thought about it.”
“I think that would be a lot of fun,” he added. “Especially with us, if you see us when we’re home, we’re just a bunch of goofballs. It’s a lot of entertainment, so we would definitely do it.”
Something else the 32-year-old athlete has already thought about is the couple’s nuptials, including their first dance. Luckily, his professional partner, Cheryl Burke, is happy to add her expertise.
“I told him, ‘You should just do that contemporary routine,'” she said. “Flip Kayla up in the air, have her bend over. It’d be really beautiful. I mean, he has the waltz. Normally you do the waltz, so he’s got everything on video, but of course I’ll be there to help him.”
However, Lochte has his own ideas.
“I want to do some traditional stuff, but I like doing different things,” he added. “I’m going to mix the waltz, contemporary, the cha cha, salsa… I’m going to mix it all in one dance.”
Maybe there will even be a group dance, as the gold medalist shares that there will surely be some familiar faces from DWTS in attendance.
“The whole entire show [will be invited],” Lochte said. “I mean honestly, it’s been like a family. I definitely want for the wedding itself, my closest friends and family. And then afterwards, you know, that’s a celebration, so I’ll have a huge, huge party.”
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
