Lachey’s Bar, Nick Lachey‘s newest collaboration with his brother Drew, has been up and running for several months now, but audiences will finally get a behind-the-scenes look when A&E’s Lachey’s Bar documents the brothers’ journey to opening the Cincinnati watering hole.
In an exclusive clip from the show’s premiere, Nick, 41, and Drew, 38, debate tending bar for the hometown crowd on their opening night.
“I could barely serve beer at my fraternity house,” Lachey says in the promo before attempting to concoct a mixed drink for a customer.
“This may be the worst freaking drink I’ve ever had,” the patron tells Nick as he sips the beverage.
The former 98 Degrees members decide to beef up their bartending skills and enroll in the Cincinnati Bar school.
It’s clear from the promo that the brothers talents don’t extend from music to mixology.

Despite a few mishaps, when Lachey’s made its grand opening on Jan. 1, both Nick and Drew fulfilled their promise to step behind the bar.
Drew lives with wife Lea and two kids near the bar in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, while Nick splits his time between the Ohio metropolis and Los Angeles with wife Vanessa.
Lachey’s is a 4,000-square-foot sports fan’s haven, complete with 20 televisions, a running score ticker and a menu curated by chef Brian Duffy.
Lachey’s Bar premieres July 15 at at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on A&E.
