Eating a wiggling worm is a frightening prospect, even for a superhero.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Monday’s episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls, Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan admits that worms have long haunted him.

“I used to be traumatized as a kid. I couldn’t eat spaghetti for the longest time because I always used to think they were worms,” Jordan says.

Jordan takes the plunge, dangling a live worm over his mouth before chomping down. He doesn’t look like he’s enjoying his meal.

“It tastes like you are chewing on, like, a balloon stuffed with sand,” Jordan says.

Host Bear Grylls is ready to provide Jordan with more worms, but the star jokes that he’s so “full” he couldn’t possible make a meal out of another.

“If you’re going to vomit, can you please vomit that way,” Grylls tells the squeamish star.
