Long live the neon tights and hair scrunchies!

Melissa Joan Hart stopped by PEOPLE Now and opened up about her teenage years on set of iconic Nickelodeon show Clarissa Explains It All.

“It’s like a cult hit,” Hart told the host. “It’s so funny. The Sabrina fans… they say, ‘Oh, I grew up with you,’ but then the Clarissa fans go, ‘I know you from Clarissa,’ as if they’re the only ones who remember it.”

“They all say the same thing, it’s so cute,” she added.

When asked if she remembers her early days on set of Clarissa, Hart laughed and answered, “I was really bossy.”

“I wanted to know everything,” she continued. “I would go behind the cameras and go up to the booms and figure out the lighting board. I wanted to know everything because we had a lot of down time on set.”

“But I had to work so hard on the monologues and [there was] 6 day weeks, 70 hours a week when I was 13, 14, 15, 16, 17,” she recalled. “So those were long hours, long days and a lot of work, but I loved it.”
