Marla Maples is literally freezing!

The former Dancing with the Stars contestant tests out the latest beauty craze in the next episode of PEOPLE’s List at New York City’s KryoLife.

Maples explains that cryotherapy – a three-minute treatment said to burn up to 800 calories – allows you to step inside a chamber that holds subzero air which can drop to -256 degrees Fahrenheit during two- to three-minute sessions.

“It’s one of the coolest trends in body treatments,” says Maples, 52.

Maples recently relocated from California to New York to be close to her 22-year-old daughter, Tiffany Trump (whom she shares with ex – and presumptive Republican presidential nominee – Donald Trump), is planning to continue life in the limelight since participating on the most recent season of DWTS.

In addition to working on a memoir about her fascinating life, she recently told PEOPLE: “I’ve been hosting quite a bit, and now I have more time to focus on that.”

PEOPLE’s List airs Saturdays (8 p.m. ET) on ABC.
