Kristin Chenoweth loves playing dress up almost as much as she loves her assistant Julie Trussell. Or is it the other way around?

In the season 10 premiere of Say Yes to the Dress, Chenoweth, 45, takes over the bridal salon, enthusiastically picking out the dresses that she prefers for Trussell’s upcoming nuptials.

“I’m saying yes to your dress,” Chenoweth jokes. And her assistant, who clearly doesn’t mind Chenoweth’s intervention, eggs her on. “Why don’t you go try this dress on, and then I can see what it looks like on you and I’ll see,” Trussell says.

Chenoweth responds favorably to this suggestion. “Everyone wins!” she exclaims. The Broadway star comically grabs the mannequin and takes the entire display with her to the dressing room.

Chenoweth is so taken with the dress she’s picked out for Trussell that she threatens to buy it if her assistant doesn’t. “Julie, if you don’t say ‘yes’ to this dress, I’m gonna,” she jokes.

But Chenoweth admits that she’s not quite ready for a walk down the aisle. She’s missing one important component: the groom. “I don’t have a boyfriend,” she says. “Please say a prayer for me.”
