Kim Kardashian West and Kris Jenner got into perhaps their biggest mother-daughter fight yet on Sunday’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but it ended with a one-of-a-kind apology — Pretty Woman-style.
After the family matriarch, 60, tearfully told Kardashian West, 36, that she was upset with her for dressing Caitlyn Jenner for the ESPY Awards, — even demanding “I want loyalty” — her second oldest daughter planned an elaborate apology to show her love and appreciation for her mother.
To apologize for bringing her mother to tears over dressing Caitlyn for the ESPYs, Kim and sister Khloé Kardashian planned a girls lunch in the penthouse suite at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where the iconic film Pretty Woman was shot.
“We wanted you to have a fun pampered day as an apology,” Kim explained to Kris, who lists the Julia Roberts and Richard Gere-starrer as one of her favorite movies. “I would just never want you to feel betrayed.”
“Kim wanted you to experience your favorite movie,” Khloé said of the lunch.
Kris, who was was grateful to Kim for planning the afternoon, accepted her daughter’s apology and explained that her tearful and heated response even “took me by surprise.”
“I don’t even have anybody to talk to that’s been through anything similar,” Kris said of the many “years” that she shared with Caitlyn before her transition, including numerous holidays. “I don’t really think about it day to day, but for some reason, that hit me the wrong way.”
“Going through this whole process with Caitlyn has been challenging,” Kris added and explained, “I finally was feeling what I needed to feel for so many years.”
And what better way to end a Pretty Woman day than with shopping?! After the trio wrapped their lunch, Kim asked her mom, “WWJD?” a.k.a. What Would Julia [Roberts] Do?

“I think we should go boot shopping,” Khloé, 32, chimed in before the ladies splurged on Rodeo Drive.
Following their time in the Fendi store in Beverly Hills, Kris walked home with a new purse, courtesy of daughters Kim and Khloé. “You guys are the best. Thank you!” Kris said.
