She may be pregnant and battling morning sickness, but Kelly Clarkson is busier than ever – the former American Idol winner is making a guest appearance on Nashville on Wednesday night.

The mom-to-be, who’s expecting her first child with new husband Brandon Blackstock in June, plays herself in the episode.

In the scene, she auditions Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio), and asks if they will write for her, only for Scarlett to say no because she just can’t work with Gunnar.

Clarkson also performs “Fade Into You” – a song co-written by the characters in the show’s first season.

It’s not Clarkson’s first acting role – she also made a memorable comedic appearance on the CBS sitcom The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams last September.

The 31-year-old, who’s complained that she’s had morning sickness “all day and all night,” has finally found one food that doesn’t make her queasy. “Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be ‘baked potatoes,'” she Tweeted on Sunday. “#godblesspotatoes.”
