“I’ll be the crazy cat lady … except with dogs,” Gosselin, 41, tells PEOPLE. “I’ve learned not to have any predictions about the next 10 years, because I certainly never thought I’d have wound up here 10 years ago! Given all the drama of our lives, doing a reality show honestly feels like the smallest issue we’ve ever had to deal with.”
Adding, “I feel honored that people are invested in the lives of my children, and in what their future might hold. I feel honored that we’ve been treated by our viewers like family, and so if they want to see my future family with random dogs and birds and lots of visits to random colleges, I’m happy to do it!”
In 2006, Gosselin and her then-husband Jon opened up their home to give viewers a glimpse of what life was like raising 5-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 16-month-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel.
Looking back, Gosselin doesn’t have any regrets, except for one.
“If I could go back, I wouldn’t spend so much time worrying about the messes and the obsessive compulsiveness and needing to be so in control,” she previously told PEOPLE. “I would spend more time nibbling little feet and cuddling up. I worried about so many things I just didn’t need to be worrying about when they were still so young, and I came on way too strong. I should have just rolled around on the floor some. I wouldn’t have melted down as much.”
